Dream Max Token Introduces Space Research Ecosystem with Plans for Satellite Network and Lunar Observation

Dream Max Token Press Release

The concept begins with a two-satellite demonstration and outlines a path toward an orbital research network and lunar observation infrastructure.

Dream Max Token (DMT) today introduced its vision for a research and data ecosystem designed to connect space missions with the researchers, companies, data users and contributors who can turn mission results into practical knowledge. The project begins with a proposed two-satellite demonstration in low Earth orbit and presents a three-stage path that could expand from focused testing and Earth observation to a broader orbital network and, ultimately, lunar observation.

Dream Max Token envisions a connected research network spanning low Earth orbit and future lunar observation.

The concept responds to a persistent gap in space development: launching hardware is only one part of the work. Experiments must be defined, payloads integrated, communications maintained, data delivered under clear terms, and results prepared so that they can support further research or services. Dream Max Token brings these activities into one coherent framework, with DMT proposed as an ecosystem component for recognizing verified contributions, using supported services and taking part in shared operations.

The first stage is designed as a complete demonstration rather than an isolated technology test. Two satellites of approximately 150 kilograms each are planned for low Earth orbit. One would support space-environment testing of materials and electronics, while the other would focus on Earth observation and instrument evaluation. Together, they are intended to demonstrate the chain from experiment preparation and deployment to communications, data delivery and documented usage conditions. The current planning target includes up to 30 kilograms of external experiment capacity across both satellites, subject to compatibility and mission requirements.

DMT is envisioned as a coordinating layer across mission activity, research data and ecosystem participation.

Dream Max Token’s roadmap is organized around three stages of exploration. Stage 1, Prove, centers on the two-satellite demonstration and the operational lessons needed to deliver useful research data. Stage 2, Connect, proposes ten additional satellites, bringing the cumulative target to 12 launches, supported by eight ground-station sites for recurring communications and data delivery. Stage 3, Explore, extends the concept to a lunar observation station and small rover connected to Earth through procured relay services.

The project does not propose developing its own launch vehicle or lunar lander. Transportation and specialized infrastructure are expected to be procured from qualified providers. This approach allows the ecosystem to focus on experiment design, payload coordination, data operations, contribution management and the services that form around research outputs.

DMT is positioned as one part of that operating model. Under the proposed design, verified work may be recognized through program-defined grants; supported analysis tools and workshops may accept DMT; and eligibility for shared decisions may reflect participation and relevant activity. Holding a larger balance is not intended to create automatic voting control, and DMT does not represent ownership of the operating company, satellites, intellectual property or research results. Public information and open discussions are intended to remain accessible without DMT holdings.

The project’s technical architecture is also designed around separation of responsibilities. Satellite operations, the data platform, contract management and an on-chain record layer would remain distinct but connected. An EVM-compatible network, an ERC-20-format DMT asset and ERC-721-format usage-right identifiers are among the options under consideration. Final technologies, access rules and smart-contract designs will be selected only after operational, security and legal review.

For researchers and companies, the ecosystem is intended to provide a clearer route from experimental requirements to payload integration and data delivery. For data users, it aims to make observation outputs easier to access and apply under agreed terms. For community members, it creates a structured path to learn about activities, propose relevant work, contribute expertise in areas such as translation or data preparation, and share accepted results and knowledge.

The first mission is currently modeled with a planned budget of USD 15 million, equivalent to JPY 2.25 billion at the project’s fixed planning rate of JPY 150 per dollar. This figure is a planning allocation rather than secured cash or a supplier quotation. The business model under consideration is based on actual services, including experiment integration and operations, data licensing, analysis support and ground-station services. The project’s public materials distinguish planning assumptions from completed operations and place contracts, permissions, safety, security and data rights under the terms of each activity.

“From Earth orbit to the Moon” describes the scale of the vision, but the project’s immediate focus is practical: prove a repeatable mission process, connect research with usable data, and create transparent ways for different participants to contribute. Each stage is intended to produce capabilities and operating knowledge that support the next.

About Dream Max Token

Dream Max Token is a proposed space research and data ecosystem that connects mission planning, experiment users, data services and verified contributions. Its current concept begins with two satellites in low Earth orbit, expands toward a multi-satellite research network, and sets a longer-term direction for lunar observation. DMT is designed as an ecosystem utility for defined activities and services rather than as ownership of mission assets or research results.
