SAN DIEGO, Sept. 14, 2026 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ — Catrak Technologies announces its partnership with FICO (NYSE: FICO) to improve field operations and road safety. The integration combines the FICO® Safe Driving Score with Drivestream®, Catrak’s portfolio of mobile and connected GPS workforce solutions.
More than 30 million light, medium and heavy-duty commercial vehicles operate on U.S. roads today. A large share of these vehicles are operated by construction, field sales and service teams. To stay profitable and protect their reputation, these companies need to meet tight schedules and provide reliable service to every customer and consistent quality on every job site. Doing that, and maintaining healthy profit margins, requires real-time information from the field.
Drivestream gives fleets visibility into day-to-day operations and helps protect margins, with GPS tracking and GPS-validated timesheets that offer insight into labor and fuel costs. Drivestream’s connected solution also delivers real-time data on vehicle health and maintenance. By adding the FICO® Safe Driving Score to Drivestream, customers can also monitor driver behavior to manage litigation exposure, protecting both profits and reputation.
“We set out to make safety and transparency accessible to every fleet,” said Mark Richardi, CEO of Catrak Technologies. “Drivestream with FICO® Safe Driving Score will deliver practical insights that improve driver safety and fleet asset management, helping businesses run smarter and safer.”
“This partnership reflects our commitment to innovation and leadership in predictive scoring,” said Julie May, vice president and general manager of B2B Scores at FICO. “By combining FICO’s analytics with Catrak’s mobile-first platform, we’re delivering a scalable, cost-effective solution that helps fleets stay ahead of risk and drive smarter, safer operations.”

With a score range of 100-850, it helps identify the riskiest drivers and provides them with actionable feedback to improve their driving and reduce the likelihood of severe events. Drivers with scores above 710 are 30% less likely to be involved in future safety-critical events, making the SDS an essential tool for enhancing road safety and reducing collision-related costs.
